Jalan Carbons & Chemicals Ltd. is a flagship Company of Jalan Group of Industries. The Group had started its operation, way back in 1990. The 1st Coal Tar distillation plant was set-up in the District of Howrah, West Bengal, for 1000 TPA, Since then, there has been extensive up gradation as well as Installation and Relocation of Plants to keep pace with the Technology up gradation.

Two more plants, one at Jharkhand and another at Orissa have also come up in the last decade and today, we stand as the second largest coal tar pitch manufacturer in India. We do not intend to stop here as it's our mission to build our capacities to the tune of 2,00,000 TPA by 2015. However, in a quest to touch the sky we did not forget our responsibility towards the environment and we are surely on track as our plan at Talcher (Orissa) plant shall be the greenest coal tar pitch plant in India. 

As we continue our journey towards further success with a particular vision to emerge as the preferred supplier of pitch not only in Indian market but also the global market we will always initiate any move keeping in mind the interest of the shareholders, customers vendors, employees, society and the environment.
